Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and using TIKUR AZMUD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Platform Role

TIKUR AZMUD is a Third-Party Facilitator. We provide a platform to connect customers with helpers and brokers who manage helpers. TIKUR AZMUD does not employ helpers, nor do we provide services directly.

All agreements, arrangements, and interactions between customers, helpers, and brokers are the sole responsibility of those parties. Any issues arising from services provided, payment disputes (outside of the platform), scheduling conflicts, or other non-platform-related matters must be resolved directly between the involved parties.

3. Payment Policy

All payments made through the TIKUR AZMUD platform are non-refundable. Once a payment has been processed for a service request, it cannot be reversed or refunded by TIKUR AZMUD.

Customers and helpers are encouraged to communicate clearly about service expectations before confirming any job requests. In the event of a dispute regarding service quality or completion, parties must resolve the matter directly.

4. Safety and Liability

⚠️ IMPORTANT: TIKUR AZMUD is NOT responsible for your safety once you are connected for a job or have started working on a job.

Users are solely responsible for their own safety and security when engaging with others through the platform. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Meeting in safe, public locations when necessary
  • Conducting background checks if desired
  • Verifying credentials and qualifications
  • Taking necessary precautions during service delivery

TIKUR AZMUD provides identity verification features but does not guarantee the accuracy of user information or conduct comprehensive background checks. Users engage with each other at their own risk.

5. Guarantor Agreement & Customer Responsibility

🛡️ IMPORTANT: TIKUR AZMUD is NOT responsible for any incidents, disputes, or damages arising from the Customer–Helper engagement. The Guarantor Agreement is made solely between the Customer and the Helper's Guarantor.

As part of our commitment to platform safety, every Helper registered on TIKUR AZMUD is required to provide a personal Guarantor — a known individual who vouches for the Helper's character and accepts moral accountability for the Helper's conduct.

Once both the Customer's and Helper's commission payments have been confirmed by the TIKUR AZMUD admin, the Customer will be granted access to the Helper's full Guarantor information (Full Name, Address, Phone Number, and ID). TIKUR AZMUD provides this information as a safety measure.

It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to:

  • Contact the Helper's Guarantor using the information provided by TIKUR AZMUD.
  • Verify the Guarantor's identity in person before allowing the Helper to begin work.
  • Obtain a signed copy of the Guarantor's Agreement (provided by TIKUR AZMUD as a downloadable PDF) before the Helper commences any services.

TIKUR AZMUD is not a party to the Guarantor's Agreement and assumes no legal liability under it. TIKUR AZMUD's role is limited to facilitating the connection and providing the Guarantor's information. Any matters arising from the Helper's conduct are to be resolved directly between the Customer, the Helper, and the Guarantor.

By using TIKUR AZMUD, you acknowledge and accept that proceeding to hire a Helper without having obtained the signed Guarantor's Agreement is done entirely at your own risk, and TIKUR AZMUD cannot be held responsible for any consequences thereof.

6. Reporting Violations

Users can and should report any wrongdoings, misconduct, or violations of these Terms of Service to TIKUR AZMUD. We take reports seriously and will investigate accordingly.

Reportable violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
  • Violation of platform policies
  • Inappropriate or illegal conduct
  • Spam or malicious activities

TIKUR AZMUD reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these terms.

7. User Responsibilities

All users (customers, helpers, and brokers) agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
  • Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials
  • Use the platform in a lawful and respectful manner
  • Honor commitments made through the platform
  • Communicate professionally and courteously

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between customers, helpers, and brokers regarding services, payments (outside the platform transaction), or other matters should be resolved directly between the parties involved. TIKUR AZMUD may provide a platform for communication but is not responsible for mediating or resolving such disputes.

9. Changes to Terms

TIKUR AZMUD reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
